How long does it take to learn English?
Speaking English with confidence is achievable in 10 to 12 months if you commit and put in the effort. There’s no magic wand—just consistent effort and teamwork. At Gama English Academy, we guide you based on the Common European Framework of Reference, which estimates an average of 180 to 200 instructional hours to progress from one level to another. Our approach combines formal teaching with practical learning—you have control and can advance as quickly as you want.
How is the method?
Our method, based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, develops the four skills—speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension—comprehensively. We adapt teaching to each student, guiding them in three stages: first, mastering structure, tenses, and vocabulary; then, understanding without translating, improving pronunciation and comprehension; and finally, thinking and expressing oneself confidently and fluently in English to use it in real life.
What are the schedules?
Our schedules are flexible: we offer virtual classes via Google Meet and in-person classes in small groups, adapting to the availability and time zone of each student so you always find a time that suits you.
Does the academy issue a certificate at the end of the course?
Yes. At our academy, you will receive an official certification each time you advance a level, backed by the international standards of the Common European Framework of Reference. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to validate your English proficiency through an internationally recognized exam based on this same framework, opening doors to studies, work, and opportunities worldwide.
